I'm not sure about you, but I am sitting here wondering what happened to 2010. It seems like it was just the beginning of summer, and now we're rolling into Holiday Season again. We already have our Thanksgiving plans in place, and I have started looking through the garage making sure I know where all the Christmas decorations are. In last month's Newsletter we mentioned a post on Winterizing Your Motorcycle, and we received a lot of feedback stating that many do not winterize their bikes; they keep them ready to roll for those occasions when the roads are clear and the sun is shining. However even if you're not putting the bike up for the winter, a good suggestion from our friend BailOut is to use the Time Change (both Spring & Fall) as a reminder to give your bike a thorough inspection. Here are some tips on performing a Basic Motorcycle Inspection.
Another great tradition that starts this time of year is the Toy Runs. Around the country dealers, charity organizations, motorcycle clubs, and riding groups are holding Toy Runs to collect toys for those a little less fortunate than most of us. Be sure to check our Motorcycle Event Calendar for a Toy Run in your area. And if you know of a Toy Run (or any motorcycle event) that is not listed in our calendar, be sure to list it or let us know so we can list it.
Bike of the Month Winners
Congratulations to our two Bike of the Month Winners for November 2010. For the Stock Class we have afranz with his 2009 Road King Classic; and for the Vintage Class we have Breeze64 with her 1964 FLH Panhead. Since this was the closest contest ever, we also want to mention BigMike60 who came in second in the Stock Class (by 4 votes) with his 2005 Springer Softail.

As always, we want to thank each and every one of you for being a part of the CycleFish community. Remember, this is your website, not ours (we just maintain it for you). Those who are active in the CycleFish community, sharing photos, adding content, and making friends, have already realized the benefits of being a part of a community sharing the same interest...motorcycles and riding.
