A Question for Military Vets

    Bubba seems to have some of his snap this week, he wants me to call the White House and ask them where his patch/medal is for being a pilot (can't quite make out how many hours he is saying).  But he wants something the military told him he gets for flying medivac (?) a Fort Bliss.  Any idea where I would begin? I usually call Sen McCain's liaison with any problems but he does so much helping vets with benefit issues I hate to start ththe ere for this issue.  Any info would be appreciated  ( and by the time I get it resolved chances are he will have lapsed into he demensia again bu want it for things that are going o his kids)  Thanks

  • Lungs sorry for crazy looking nomenclature not sure if arthritic fingers or crazy old people keyboard...just wondered who I contact to find out about this pilot thing h is now fixated on

    Take it to VA and work from there.
  • Jimmyacorn It might help to know specifically what patch/medal you're talking about. There are many web sites devoted to providing unit patches, flying patches, etc. If it is not a military issue combat medal or award a DD-214 is not needed. I would imagine that...  more
