Are you a Rebel Biker?

  • There are many different types of bikers out there.  What kind are you?  Are you a casual motorcycle rider who only rides on the weekends, or are you a hardcore biker who hits the streets every change you get?  Maybe you're a social rider who enjoys riding with friends.  Then there are the rebel bikers, sometimes called lone wolf riders.  These bikers aren't social people, and they don't want to ride with others.  Many wear embroidered biker vest patches with wolves on them to symbolize this.  These riders are sometimes seen as rebel bikers because they don't follow the crowd.

Rebel bikers aren't bad people, but they just don't like being part of a group or doing what society says they should.  In fact, years ago, bikers were all considered to be rebels.  They were loud, often crass, and they stood out.  They wore leather, had long, big beards, and more.  The stereotypical biker is one who doesn't follow the rules.  In fact, due to how some of the early bikers acted, many people think motorcycle riders are lawbreakers who are out to cause trouble.  Obviously, while that might apply to a small number of riders, it doesn't apply to the majority of them.

It doesn't really matter what you look like, you can have a jacket covered in embroidered biker vest patches, a long, scraggly beard, and a motorcycle with flaming skulls but yet still be the most polite, kind-hearted person ever.  It doesn't matter what you look like, it matters what you do.  If you ride on your own, don't want to join a biker club, and don't look "professional," many might call you a rebel.  But don't listen to them - you are what you are.
