Any HVAC guys here? I'm trying to find the tonnage indicator on my system here in Alabama.  How do I tell if it's a one, two, or 3 ton unit?  Anyone?

Just kidding. Does it have any labeling. If you have a manufacture and serial number you could probably contact them.

Seems the previous owner stuck the manual in a closet behind the unit. I'm good. I just had to be sure the AC guy who came out wasn't trying to screw me. He was!!! Ya just can't trust anyone these days.
Thanks lucky....oh, btw.....I can power lift 800 lbs and I couldn't budge the thing. LOL

For future reference, I believe that a 1 ton unit is equal to 12000 BTU. So a 3 ton would be 36000.
