i have a 1995 fltcu that the raido cuts out  while riding down rode and stay off untill i restart the bike maybe it may take tow to fore time to get it back on i thought it was a bad radio got a new wrong dose the same thing please help thanks eagleman

Sounds like a bad ground. high loads will burn the ground contact until the wire is burnt off or welded on.

Used to happen in my truck if I was doing HARD 4 wheelin'. Try grounding the stereos chassis. Worked on my truck
