The Ride to Remember returns this year, bigger and better than ever. As in years past this ride will benefit the Alzheimer's Association.

This year the organizers have planned a 90-mile ride through beautiful rural northern Guilford County into and around Rockingham County. The ride, which will be escorted by the Guilford County Sheriff's Motor Patrol, features twisties, straightaways and sweeps as it meanders through farmlands, woodlands, over and along the Dan River.

Summerfield's First Baptist Church (2300 Scalesville Road) will again host the event. Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. Before the ride registrants can sip fresh coffee, enjoy a doughnut or Danish and meet other riders. KSU at 10 a.m. and the fun begins. At the end of the ride church members will have lunch waiting. A donation of $25 for a solo rider ($30 for two-up) puts you in the ride. Additionally, there will be a 50-50 drawing and a silent auction. Registrants will get a T-shirt while they last. All riders are invited to join this Ride to Remember!
