The Student Veterans Association, a group of military veterans and their supporters who are now working on their college degrees at Texas A&M University-Texarkana, announces its 2nd annual poker run. Proceeds from the event will benefit the SVA and the chapter's annual charity, Patriot Paws (a charitable organization that provides free service dogs to wounded veterans). The event includes a poker run ($100 for the winning high hand and $50 for the winning low hand), silent auction, raffle, food, and fun! Registration begins at Texas A&M University-Texarkana at 9:00am (first bike/car out at 9:30am) with routes around Wright Patman Lake. Ending location is Whiskey River Harley-Davidson in Texarkana. This event is open to motorcycles, cars, trucks, etc. $15 for the main rider/driver and an additional $10 for each passenger. Main riders/drivers with a VA or military ID card can register for just $10!
