Help us give toys to kids in need. Being a child in the hospital can be frightening for parents and even worse for the kids. Advocate Children’s Hospital, Oak Lawn serves as a major referral center for infants, children and teens in the Midwest. Last year, approximately 5,800 inpatients visited with 40% of these patients being there for extended stays. Every patient gets new toys to help in the healing process and to put a smile on a face that needs it. Our goal is to put toys in the deserving hands of these young patients. All toys donated during this run will go to the children at Advocate Children’s Hospital, Oak Lawn.
Our event is NOT AN ALL DAY EVENT. We decided to have an event with NO FEES INVOLVED. Instead of spending money to ride why not spend that money to get more toys? Our event begins with the line up at Richs Yamaha, 143rd & Archer in Lockport IL at 10:00. The ride leaves at 11:00 sharp. Once the toys are dropped off at the Hospital everyone is welcome to join us for lunch (on your dime) or to just continue on and enjoy your day. This is our 5th Annual event and the Hospital is always grateful for the toys received.
