The 7th Annual Toni & RJ Foundation Ride for Distracted Driving Awareness is held in memory of Toni & RJ. On June 1, 2011, Toni was 28 years old pregnant at full term 36 hours away from giving birth to RJ her son. They were both killed in a senseless automobile crash by another driver that was texting. The other driver hit Toni's SUV head on killing her and the baby instantly. Toni's family formed a foundation in Toni and RJ's memory to promote Distracted Driving Awareness. The foundation is called The Toni Donato-Bolis and Baby RJ Foundation. Toni's family and foundation board members give presentation throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania sharing Toni's story and the danger of Distracted Driving. Presentations are given to high schools, community groups, and many companies that promote safe driving for their employees. All the proceeds the foundation has raised benefit the the scholarship fund set up in Toni & RJ's name. Starting with the school year ended 2013 thru 2017 we have awarded over $60,000 in scholarships and thousands to other charities. Toni was very philanthropic during her short time with us and devoted a lot of time and energy to charitable organizations such as the March of Dimes and other organizations that help children in need. The donation for the ride is $30 and passengers ride free. A freelunch will be provided at the destination for all riders.
