You want to Help. You Love to Ride. Do Both this Saturday with the SoCal Burn Ride.

While we watched the Woolsey fire engulf our route and burn Paramount Ranch to the ground, we also began hearing numerous stories of our friends, supporters, and even our Road Captain having to evacuate their homes. Most of them were in fear that they may lose everything. Some of them have.

We wanted to do something to help those who have supported us, including the firefighters, and many of you have expressed wanting to help, too.

This Saturday, join us as we gather at Los Angeles Fire Department Station 77 in Sun Valley to raise funds through Firefighters Quest for Burn Survivors to help those who have been affected by these tragic fires.

This will be an informal opportunity to come together as a biker community and support the efforts of great organizations like the Red Cross and other local resources that FFQ has worked with in the past.

WE ARE NOT "SELLING TICKETS" - THIS IS NOT AN "EVENT". There will be no food or water at the station and we do not have a midpoint or stop, so please do bring your own refreshments.

A suggested donation of $5 is encouraged but any amount will be graciously accepted. You do not need to ride in order to donate and you may do so directly via the Eventbrite link.

At 9:30AM sharp, the co-founders of the SoCal Burn Ride will head out from the station up Sunland Blvd to Big Tujunga Canyon Road. We'll then take Upper Big Tujunga over to Angeles Crest Highway and come down the 2 into La Canada to grab brunch along Foothill Boulevard.

Riders are more than welcome to join us on this route, (in which case you will have to sign a waiver), but there's plenty of roads and destinations in the area you're free to explore - again, this is not an organized event like the annual SoCal Burn Ride - we are simply using the Fire Station as a rally point for motorcyclists who want to donate to the cause and then ride afterwards.

We know it's short notice, and we know many of you have lost your bikes in the fires or are unable to ride this weekend, so if there's a strong enough desire, we may be able to do this again next Sunday. But for now, we hope this effort helps those who have helped us and we do hope to see some familiar faces on Saturday.
