Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter 3-2 is launching a first of its kind event that focuses awareness on veteran suicide. On August 11, 2019, Chapter 3-2 is sponsoring the 2019 Pikes Peak Mission to Zero. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness and funds to support organizations whose mission is to assist and prevent veterans who are at risk. Current national statistics show the rate of veteran suicide at approximately 16 veterans per day. The more well-known number is 22 veterans per day, but that number was due to the few states that were assessed at the time. Regardless if the number is 16 or 22, we can all agree that one is too many. The 2019 Pikes Peak Mission to Zero is an effort whose goal is to stop this tragedy amongst our veteran community.


The 2019 Pikes Peak Mission to Zero will provide a venue for all to come out and show their support for our veterans who are at risk of suicide. The venue will take place in the beautiful Town of Green Mountain Falls and consist of a group motorcycle ride to the top of Pikes Peak Mountain. For those not wishing to be a part of the Pikes Peak Mountain ride, we will offer live entertainment throughout the day along with numerous veteran owned small businesses and support groups that will have booths set-up within the venue. Food and beverages will also be available to the public participating in this event. All are welcome!

This type of fundraising event has never been attempted in Colorado and we invite you to be a part of history to not only show-off the beauty of Pikes Peak Mountain but raise veteran suicide awareness.
