  That is how I do it. Its not real hard getting a worn out tire off the rim tho,the real challenge is getting the newer,stiffer tire installed. Altho that parachute cord trick that 99 suggests sounds like it might work a lot easier than tryin to do one bead at a time!

  a complete tool kit goes without sayin,tire repair kit plus inflater yup all that goes for trips anyhow. When Im just out for a lil therapy,I always have my phone with me,cheapest insurance you can have, rain gear is a must also and irregardless of where I am or what Im doin I carry a little over/under multi-tool! Its either on my person or somewhere nearby!
