So I through if I wrote down some of the differences between "Growing Up" and "Grown Up" in sort of a light hearted way maybe I can learn to just chill out and accept things better. I guess laughing at ones self is better than bitiching. Growing up: You start life completely relying on your parents Grown Up: You end up relying on your Children...scarry Growing Up: You can't wait to get a car with a floor shift Grown Up: Pushing in a clutch is just wasted effort Growing Up: You're applying for a College Student Loan Grown Up: Your applying for Social Security Benifits Growing Up: You're never without a comb in your back pocket Grown Up: No Problem I have plenty of hat's..who needs a comb Growing Up: You freak out on a date when you relize your down to your last...    less

Do We Really Need A SELF DRIVING CAR?

What was it like, riding in the Google self-driving car?   Two people got in the prototype, buckled up, and used a smartphone app (or pretended to) to tell the car where they wanted to go. The Google car has no steering wheel, no brake pedal, no accelerator, no park-forward-reverse — so the two passengers knew immediately they would ride in the car, not drive it. One of them pushed the “start” button, and the car took them to the street address they gave it. When they arrived at their destination, the car turned itself off — or the passengers pressed the “stop” button — and the trip was over. The takeaway? Here’s one: The Google self-driving car will take you to work — but if you want to stop for donuts on the way, you’ll have to instruct the car through your smartphone to pause on its trip to your office — then begin a new trip into the...    less

    Brake light issues..

I've got a 99 Softail and the other night my front brake lever fell off (while I was riding), made for an interesting stop when I went to go reach for it and it wasn't there.. I ended up finding it on the road, road the bike home and now my brake lights won't work. The switch in the grip behind the lever, the plunger moves in and out fine but the brake light won't engage. The rear pedal won't engage it either. I replaced the bulb, tested the wires under the seat and my test light lit up, tested the rear area where the bulb goes, it's ok.. Anyone have any ideas? Is it the switch where the wires run into near the exhaust or the frt. switch, I have no clue what to test next.. I know some people have had bad bulbs but I know mine are ok, the lights worked the night I took it out as well, I don't know if the lever falling off has anything to do with this issue..  less
