In this world there are two kind of people with motorcycles. There's motorcycleists and then there's bikers. Bike's prefer to bar hop and do small jaunts, motorcycleists like to go from one end the country to the other without trailering. You just happen to be of the latter... Enjoy that bike!!!

  • mac117 I tend to disagree with that comment....motorcyclist ride their bikes on weekends and nice sunny days....bikers ride their bikes everywhere they go, across town or across country, in all kinds of weather!

No, I don't ride with a club (have ridden with several as an associate) but I totally get the 'Wasted Days' thing. We only get a certain number of riding days in our lives & I hate to use one on crap. 'Gotta take the cage to get more groceries than the bike can handle, gotta go somewhere with 3 people, being sick as a dog and the sun is shining, bike is broke and yer waiting on parts...' yada-yada.
    
    I won't do more than a 'face-palm' about 'allowing' you to ride your own with the 'boys'... It's your own and I know you ride that bike, when and where you want. nuffsaid.
    
    Ain't a damn thing 'wrong' with you and you know it! If you think about their answers it becomes clear, the desires of the heart. The guys wanted to improve their property and so did the women... their property being their bodies. Boob jobs and face-lifts are their ideas for making their property... better, more desirable.   • Jimmyacorn I have to go with EW on this. There's nothing wrong with you. There's everything wrong with wasting a good day's ride in a bar. Labels? Motorcyclist? Biker? Enthusiast? It's all BS!!!!

Usually gives me great insight into their mindset… And yes I love to ride and the Cannonball would be a great adventure, I would say adventure of a life time but I have used those words before and found you never know what life will bring… ; D

    Some times people don't have a clue when it comes to whats really worth anything in this life let alone how to behave around others.Once liquor becomes involved common sense is the first thing out the door. You showed restraint by not raising to the bait,that lady was probably looking for some body to hassle.

  • RevBigJohn Riding is what being a biker is all about, over the years I've ridden with a bunch of different folks of every type.
    I have a very short list of those I prefer to ride with, and so do they.

    Big rev: Yep their are few I prefer to ride with and this bunch will never go on that list. Took me three days to quit being pissed off at Wooly for the wasted day. That bunch is on my wave as I go past the bar list. Not saying how many fingers I will use. ; D  less
