The Most Obsure Artist On Your Playlist?

    I used to work with a guy who is a professional DJ in his spare time.  The guy has a massive CD collection and has turned me on to a bunch of artists I never heard of, a few of which have made it into my favorites playlist.  Some of the lesser-known bands are:

    Made of Hate
    Poets & Pornstars
    Fireball Ministry
    Black Label Society

    So what are some of the most obscure artists on your playlists?

    Good list!  I actually have a couple of Horsehead tunes....can't remember if I like 'em or not.  The others are all new names to me.  Thanks!  Now I can look 'em up.

    Got a lot of Big Band/Swing songs - Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Glenn Miller, etc - that music is just so up-beat you can't help but to move when you hear it.

    Holy cow, Rev!  What a list!  I like your taste.  I've heard Widespread Panic, Gov't Mule, Derek Trucks, and O.A.R.  The rest you can be sure I'm gonna look up on iTunes!

    Ya can't beat this genre for getting up and moving.  I'm afraid if I listen to these guys while riding I'd wanna make the Beast dance...and that ain't kosher at 90 MPH.

    Which tour did they open for Aerosmith?  I saw Aerosmith and Kiss about 10 years ago in DC.  Automatic Black rings a bell.....

    That was probably it. They were on the the same card. That is about the right time too. Cool!

    I usually rock old Heavy Metal but when I'm in the mood I like to hear British Ska music like the Specials or the English Beat. The Clash are one of my favorites too but there not very obscure I guess.
