We know this Savage but there are many incidents of idiots being gored or trampled by bison in Custer St Park, SD. I have seen people on foot taking pictures in the middle of a small herd as it meandered across the road. And there are signs everywhere. A bull in that herd chased me but I was prepared by keeping an escape route open.

For my one grand-daughter this would mean: do not touch while somebody is looking.
I don't even think I want to know where this sign was posted.

Does "buffalo" refer to the critter ("bison"
or the city? Personally, I think I would rather approach the critters than the city.

Sign refers to the ungulate – Don’t want to hijack this thread but save 2 years on active duty lived in & near Buffalo, NY until 67. – Thought it was the most exciting place in the world, enterprise everyplace
Got back there about 3 years ago & felt like Mad Max. – Would like to pick up a couple of buddies & do it again, taking pictures of that left behind. They are impressive ruins
Might start a thread elsewhere “Ruins” – Have some pictures of the Buffalo waterfront & a lot of Michigan’s Keweenaw
