I would love to hear from anyone with experience with them and any information that would be helpful. He is 19 years old and had his High School Diploma.  He lacks experience with the world and team work and discipline. He is a very good kid and thinks that he wants to go into  this sort of stuff.. I am him Mom and I need people I trust to tell me about thier experience with this sort of stuff. Tell me more..... and just as a side note.. I looked over and there is an ad for the National Guard to the right of my screen.. hmmm  less

Life is like an old worn vinyl record. Remember when you couldnt find the right groove for the needle back in the day  and all that come forth was alot of static noise and dis-harmony. I think I found my groove on that great big ol cosmic record and now that im in the niche and living this life ( i cant imagine living any other way) i was wondering...how many here have found their niche/groove in the universe? As you all see im bored waitin for the NY winter to thaw...lol P.S: And no, i havent been trippin in the mushroom patch out by the back of the house...lol  less

K? So, I've got this new roommate, just moved in a week ago today, to the house I've been in for almost a month.  Kinda got things arranged the way I, and one other roommate could work with.  We knew ahead of time, someone else was coming, so we knew there might be some re-adjustments necessary.  No problem, right?  Well, there have been some problems.  One, (and this is a big one, for me) she brought her dog.  That in and of itself is not the problem, I love dogs.  I used to train dogs.  The problem is, that this roommate is barely in the door, and informs us, that "we" could let her dog out, whenever it needed to go out. I had told her when she walked in, that because of my knee issues, and the stairs on the porches, I wouldn't be walking her dog for her. ...    less

I retired from the US Army - 20 years. I would do it all over again if given the opportunity. While the ultimate cost of being in the military may very well be loss of life, the experiences and lessons learned are top notch. But, I also must mention that the military is not for everybody. There is simply no I in Team, and that is exactly what he will be in......a team. So, I say good luck. It is a noble thing he will be undertaking.

I have been riding for 44 years. I started out in Europe, first bike, first license and have not gotten over the fact that two wheels make me smile. After 20 years in the military, 15 years at the Post Office, and a crap load of broken marriages and relationships, I can toss my ass on the scoot, take off, and all my troubles leave, if only for a short short. There simply is nothing to compare a good ride, in rain, snow, sleet, wind, scorching sun, whatever. It is all good, so I guess the lifestyle picked me. Lovin every freakin minute of it.

Ride it like ya stole it.

I agree with Tweek on the use of Mothers products. But, do not get the wheel cleaner on ANY part of your brushed metal (read: covers, etc), they will turn ash grey.
