A couple of weeks ago, a ling time area business owner, true community organizer and a shiningnlight of love for others closed this short chapter of life here with us and began his forever with Jesus. He raised hundreds of...  moreJustwanted to share this. A couple of weeks ago, a ling time area business owner, true community organizer and a shiningnlight of love for others closed this short chapter of life here with us and began his forever with Jesus. He raised hundreds of thousands dollats for charities in iur region, more than i can list here. We had a celebration of His Life and abkut 700 Motorcyclist showed up with another 200 people. A few of us were blessed to have the opportunity to go to his home the friday before he pasded to personally say thank you and goodbye. But this funeral made me happy to be in the Biker community. Weather was absolutely beautiful and especially since we have had 10 inches of rain the past month... We did flyers and took to every...  moreSo i just need to vent some...We went all out to bring some smiles and blessings to a nursing home today in Texarkana. Weather was absolutely beautiful and especially since we have had 10 inches of rain the past month... We did flyers and took to every motorcycle shop in the area. We even hit two other parades the past few weeks.
  I made a call to the motorcycling community and was let down. 5 motorcycles and all from my CMA Chapter which Im so glad, blessed and proud they came on a Tuesday mid afternoon. A simple parade thru a nursing home parking lot, brought so many smiles it totally warmed my heart. Thanks to all th Non-Motorcyclest who came, brought dogs even a pony. And after seeing all the motorcycles on the road today, I just wonder why more people could not take 30 min for agreat cause.
  Thank you to all who did and no matter what. I will choose to ride anywhere, anytime i can to benefit someone else. I just ask anyone reading this to stop and think how a simple ride thru a parking lot can brighten a persons day.... Many I talked to were Korea and Veitnam vets. Also think of this...We ALL WILL BE OLD ONEDAY. I will post pictures as i get them... I was on a bike and then visiting and my famiky was handing out beeds and walking out dogs so none of us got pictures.
  I just wish my local area had more motorcyclist who actually do things For The community.  less
