I started riding in 1977. We had a custom chopper in California, back when there were no helmet laws! Remember that! huh! Never thought i would see the day that California imposed helmet laws, but anyway...
After that were a series harleys. I don't think i ever went a summer without riding since 1977.
In 1992, i bought my own bike , it was a 79 sportster. I never felt comfortable it. It always felt awkward. I thought it was because i was riding solo rather than just vegging out on the back. Perhaps that was part of it, but about 5 years ago i bought a 2000 Honda Shadow. Man she fits like a freakiin' glove... so comfortable! I wouldn't trade her for anything! Looking forward to a new summer... less
