Been cold and rainy for the past few days. Today is a little nicer... high 60s and sunshine. Hopefully this holds all weekend because we have a ride planned for tomorrow.

Took what was probably the last ride of the season last Wed. - Half hour to get dressed; hooded windbreaker/insulated coveralls/leg gaiters/jacket/2 neck gaiters/gauntlet gloves
Changed the oil, washed & polished yesterday. Hoping for one more day dry enough to ride to the gas station then will pull the battery & put Ulysses into hibernation.

Today in the area of Texas (where I've been for the past 5 days) it is very bright & sunny, light breeze & feels about 55 degrees? I'm headed to a little SW of Austin & hitting the road in about an hour, I expect it to be slightly warmer & no rain

Temp 27 degrees, a bunch of snow on the ground, have to shovel some before the "lake effect snow" gets here so I'll have less to deal with for Thanksgiving day.

Well our weather took a turn for the worse. It's cold outside about 60F and overcast. By the way never shoveled snow in my life, but we did have a blizzard of 6" in 72 shut the town down for 2 weeks

Our unusually warm and sunny summer and fall here in the Pacific NW is ending ... snow and freezing temperatures the next few days, but bright sunshine, so the Harley and I are still going to town!
